Optic: Medium ruby/dark garnet with slightly opaque core, fat tears, fine
floating sediment,
Bouquet: Sweet rotting vegetals, dark fruit, medicinal note, champignons,
quite complex.
Taste:
Medium full body, sweet dark red fruit, crisp acidity, silky but strong
palate coating tannins. Very long finish, bit hot in the aftertaste.
Overall: May be not great but certainly a wine for a special occasion.
Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 14 for bouquet + 17 for taste + 8 for overall =
total score of 93.
